Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Accountant tenable at Head Office in Blantyre.
QUALIFICATIONS : First Degree in Accounting
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role
- Have hands on working knowledge on sage 50 accounting package
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production of monthly Management Accounts
- Production of Quarterly Management reports
- Reconciliation of General Ledgers
- Preparation of annual budget / projections and forecasts
- Maintenance of Asset Register and Insurance records
- Monitoring and management of expenses within the allotted budgets
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time
