TITLE: Administrative Assistant
ROLE PURPOSE
The Admin Assistant offers office management support services to the FOCCAD Office and its satellite offices. He/she supports the set-up and facilitation of meetings and events and manages the calendar for the Senior Management Team in particular and the Country Office (CO) in general. The position provides overall support (travel, visa, accommodation, in-country logistics) to visitors and supports conferences/workshops or events organized by the CO. The incumbent also receives and guides visitors into and out of the Country Office.
SCOPE OF ROLE
Reports to: HR and Admin Manager
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in public administration, business administration, social sciences, finance, project management, supply chain management, or any relevant field
- 3 years in an administration or secretarial job.
- Highly computer literate (MS Office) and agile in the use of other electronic equipment (fax, internet, scanner, photocopy) etc.
- Excellent time management and planning capacity.
- Good English writing and speaking skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills, with the ability to organize a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to troubleshoot as necessary.
