Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Partnership Officer to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership, sales strategy, customer relationship management, and operational management. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new sales opportunities and fostering a positive team environment to achieve our business objectives.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Sales Agents.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Set individual sales targets and provide guidance to achieve them.
- Foster a positive and competitive team environment.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
- Create and manage sales plans and budgets.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage resources efficiently to maximize productivity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams.
- Provide insights from the field to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related field.
- 4 – 6 years of proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets and managing a sales territory or team
- In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector
- Strong leadership and management abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A customer-centric mindset and the ability to understand customer needs and preferences
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets with excellent strategic thinking skills
- Obsessed with time management, prioritization of tasks, and the ability to manage and track multiple streams of work and report on the progress
- Strong interpersonal skills with the excellent ability to build and maintain relationships
- Able to demonstrate integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of their work.
- Must have experience in:
- Working with fast-paced early-stage organizations.
- Clear expertise in MS Office: Excel, Word & PPT.
