The Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Company (SLWSC) Limited is a Special Purpose ‹ Vehicle (SPV) incorporated by the Malawi Government for implementation of the Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Project.
The Company’s mandate is to manage implementation of the Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Project, and to develop and manage water resources for raw and potable bulk water supply to support the socio-economic development of Malawi. The Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Company invites applications from suitably qualified candidates of Malawian origin to fill the following vacant position:
ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Job Title: Assistant Administrative Officer
Grade: SLWSC 7
Division: Human Resource and Administration
Location: Lilongwe
Reporting Responsibility: Human Resource Officer
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Initiating the maintenance and rehabilitation of all SLWSC property;
- Developing and implementing an inventory of all property, fleet and security management systems;
- Updating the inventory of furniture and equipment;
- Administering and managing contracts for outsourced services;
- Checking invoices on utilities for all SLWSC property;
- Preparing periodic reports;
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in either Business Administration, Management or Public Administration.
- At least 3 years practical experience in a relevant field.
