Managing and growing relationships between Britam and its current and future direct clients and agencies
Key responsibilities

1. Identify leads and make sales pitch2. Develop and maintaining good working relationships with intermediaries and direct clients3. Participate in the introduction of new products through regular visits and frequent communication with intermediaries and direct clients4. Respond to queries and concerns from clients5. Servicing existing clients6. Follow up on renewals for general insurance business7. Follow up premium collections8. Forward proposal forms to underwriting department and follow up for accurate execution.9. Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors’ products10. Credit control management of general insurance debtors11. Provide coaching and training to brokers and independent agents12. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

2. Bachelor’s degree (marketing option preferred). Masters is an added advantage.3. Diploma in sales and marketing or CIM qualification4. Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII, FLMI, or AIIK)5. Five years’ experience in a similar position two of which should be in a supervisory position
