Job Description
Infinity Media Group is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Photographer to join the team in Mangochi. As an Assistant Photographer, you will work closely with our Creative Director, Photographer, and Designers to deliver high-quality visual content.
Responsibilities:
1. Capture professional-grade photos and videos in studio and on-location settings
2. Review and select the best photographs for projects
3. Produce high-quality images for marketing materials, social media, and other mediums
4. Coordinate with clients to schedule photoshoots
5. Maintain and manage photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting
6. Edit and retouch images using photo editing software (Lightroom, Capture One, Photoshop)
7. Assist in managing photography sessions and promoting the business
Requirements:
1. Candidate should have minimum qualification of MSCE certificate. Those with certificates in Journalism, Video Production, Graphic Designing will have an added advantage.
2. Strong knowledge of photography art and lighting
3. Customer-focused with a passion for delivering high-quality results
4. Ability to follow instructions and achieve desired outcomes
5. Physical stamina for photoshoots (standing/crouching for hours)
6. Proficiency in photo manipulation software (Adobe Suite, Lightroom, Capture One) and camera equipment
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Video shooting and editing skills are a plus!
