Job Description
Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitable qualified Malawians to fill the following vacant positions tenable at Zomba District Council. The applicants must be willing to work in rural areas and subjected to Malawi Public Services Regulations (MPSR) from time to time.
POST: BUILDING SUPERVISOR
GRADE K/ M8
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be in possession of Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building or Construction Site Management.
DUTIES:-
Take charge of building work and direct labor on sites where that capital maintenance work are being undertaken
Provide estimates for given work in construction/maintenance
Supervise craftsmen on best ways of construction works co-ordinate and solve problems regarding workmen, etc
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time time.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS:
Successful candidates must be willing to be deployed in remote areas.
