Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving the company’s growth strategy. This position is crucial for expanding our market presence, enhancing our customer base, and increasing revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify New Business Opportunities:
• Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and potential customer needs within the real estate industry.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with Valuations Africa’s strategic goals, focusing on our AI-driven valuation and estate agency tools.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients and partnerships, specifically targeting financial institutions, property valuers, estate agents, and individual clients.
2. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to promote Valuations Africa’s software solutions.
• Conduct regular meetings and presentations to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions using our advanced data analytics and AI capabilities.
• Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
3. Sales and Revenue Generation:
• Develop and manage sales pipelines to meet and exceed sales targets, focusing on increasing the adoption of our real estate software solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective campaigns and promotional strategies that highlight our unique value proposition.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company values.4. Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential areas for growth specific to the real estate sector.
• Analyze competitor strategies and market positioning to inform business development efforts and adjust tactics as necessary.
• Provide regular reports and insights on market opportunities and challenges to senior management.
5. Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan aligned with Valuations Africa’s objectives.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align business development activities with our overall strategic goals.
• Monitor the performance of business development initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.6. Networking and Industry Engagement:
• Represent Valuations Africa at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build industry connections and increase brand visibility.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and innovative approach to business development.Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the real estate or software solutions industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing successful business strategies.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
• Experience in market research, analysis, and the use of data-driven decision-making.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
