Overview
Child Care Caregiver
MALO A MCHEREZO, which means “place of refuge,” is a multisite non-profit organization that was founded in 2002 and has been growing ever since. We provide holistic care for underprivileged, orphaned children not only through food, clothing, and medical care but also a well-rounded school education. We offer a place where these needy children feel safe, loved, cared for, and challenged to grow. Here, they receive the opportunity to get to know Jesus and choose a life with Him. They also receive the opportunity to develop their character, knowledge, skills, and individual gifts. This is our strategy for breaking the cycle of poverty and giving underprivileged people in Malawi and Mozambique a better future.
Vision
We see our Child as a person of high integrity, independent and as a God-fearing Father or Mother in a healthy family.
Mission
Our Mission is to passionately offer an orphaned child in a desperate situation love and hope in a place of refuge with the chance to know Jesus and to develop into a person with a self-sustaining and fulfilled future.
Motivation
Our motivation is based on our understanding of God as he is described in the Bible. He loves all people, and the ministry to orphans is a special concern of his. This love moves us to care for these children. It is our desire that they experience the love of God and live into a personal relationship with Him.
