Job Title : Commissioner
Reports to : Branch Manager
Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Commissioner to oversee our courier service office operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise office staff (drivers, customer service representatives, administrative personnel).
- Coordinate and monitor daily operations (pickup/delivery schedules, routing, logistics).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution and service quality monitoring.
- Analyze and improve operational efficiency (cost control, productivity enhancement).
- Implement and maintain safety protocols/procedures.
- Collaborate with sales/marketing departments to drive business growth.
- Provide coaching/training/development opportunities to staff.
- Manage budgets/resources/assets effectively.
- Maintain accurate records/reports (performance metrics, customer feedback).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a management/supervisory role in the courier/logistics industry.
- Strong leadership/communication/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment/make quick decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/courier software applications. ✓ Strong analytical/organizational skills.
Other Attributes :
- Experience with lean principles/process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations/compliance requirements. ✓ Certification in logistics/transportation management.
