Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a self-driven and highly motivated individual to take up the role of Marketing and Communication Officer with a strong desire to build a career in the telecommunications industry.

Role and Responsibilities

●  Set up and manage all communications and marketing, ensuring high quality and creative campaigns.

●   Create content, coordinate and monitor press and all social media presence, maximising opportunities for impact.

●   Develop and maintain excellent relationships across the range of our stakeholders.

●   Create effective marketing materials for use in a range of media to meet the needs of the audience including compiling a regular newsletter, video content, leaflets and posters.

●    Develop a social media marketing plan in line with the target audience.

●    Prepare content with guidance from Head of Channel Marketing and Sales Director

●   Keep website up to date with new products, articles and press releases

●   Arrange interviews, talks and speeches at events for the leadership team

●   Keep project management tool – Monday.com up to date on a daily basis.

●   Identify and implement improvements to increase the output and impact of our communications and marketing.

●   Create opportunities for promoting at conferences, community events and peer activity.

●   Write press releases and compile a PR database for the network to access.

●   Motivate and lead workflow with multiple 3rd party stakeholders and groups – create partnerships with external companies along the way.

●    Reading and staying abreast of industry news and publications online to create and suggest your own content

●    Create a list of events related to the industry that we can attend, organized by Third Parties or by our customers or by other stakeholders in the industry

●    Organize company industry events and invite our clients

●     Work with our creative team to design high quality graphical/visual content that can be used in our content that is published

Required Tools & Competencies

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with the following tools:

  • Google Analytics: For monitoring web traffic, behavior and campaign performance.
  • Google Ads: For paid search campaigns and PPC optimization.
  • Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Email Marketing Platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot): For driving customer engagement through targeted email marketing.
  • SEO Tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz):
  • CRM Systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot): For customer data management and targeted marketing.
  • A/B Testing Tools (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize): To refine ad creatives, landing pages, and other assets

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Digital media, Communication or related filed
  • Proven experience in Digital Marketing, Excellent public speaking ability/experience
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tracking tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Experience in creating and managing high-performing, data-driven online campaigns with demonstrable results

Note: Candidate with Experience working with other Telecommunications, Western and eCommerce brands or having built own will have an added advantage
