Job Description
The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians to fill the following vacant posts that exist in the different sectors of Nkhotakota District Council.
JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR OF HEALTH SERVICES
GRADE : E/M2
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be serving Chief Medical Officers (Grade F/M3) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities or Civil Service.
DUTIES
1. Plan and coordinate day to day activities of the Directorate.
2 Advise the Health Committee of the Council and the District Commissioner on all health Service.
3. Control the use of resources in the Directorate.
4. Develop annual health Services plans for the Council.
5. Prepare estimated drugs and other necessary medical requirements for the Council.
6. Ensure that health standards are upheld all the time.
