Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Emergency Response Project Officer to lead and coordinate our emergency disaster response initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency management, project coordination, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Emergency Response Project Planning and Management
  • Plan and manage emergency disaster response projects.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of disaster situations.
  • Report Writing
  • Prepare various reports, including performance management reports, financial reports, and final project reports.
  • Media and Public Relations
  • Share promotional and media materials, such as photos and videos, to increase awareness of project activities.
  • Communication with Headquarters
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with the headquarters to ensure project alignment and support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • At least [1] years of experience in disaster response or humanitarian aid.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of local context and disaster response protocols is highly desirable.
