Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Emergency Response Project Officer to lead and coordinate our emergency disaster response initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency management, project coordination, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response Project Planning and Management
- Plan and manage emergency disaster response projects.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of disaster situations.
- Report Writing
- Prepare various reports, including performance management reports, financial reports, and final project reports.
- Media and Public Relations
- Share promotional and media materials, such as photos and videos, to increase awareness of project activities.
- Communication with Headquarters
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with the headquarters to ensure project alignment and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least [1] years of experience in disaster response or humanitarian aid.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of local context and disaster response protocols is highly desirable.
