Job Description
The Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Company (SLWSC) Limited is a Special Purpose ‹ Vehicle (SPV) incorporated by the Malawi Government for implementation of the Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Project.
The Company’s mandate is to manage implementation of the Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Project, and to develop and manage water resources for raw and potable bulk water supply to support the socio-economic development of Malawi. The Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Company invites applications from suitably qualified candidates of Malawian origin to fill the following vacant position:
Executive Assistant
Title: Executive Assistant
Grade: SLWSC 5
Department: General Management
Location: Lilongwe
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Drafting administrative correspondences and minutes;
- Maintaining the CEO’s appointment diary, including preparing relevant papers for meetings and ensuring that papers/files for such meetings are complete and up to date;
- Indexing the CEO’s business correspondences:
Orienting and inducting newly recruited administrative assistants. - Managing minutes of meetings, departmental monthly reports, and general files.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Diploma in Administrative Studies (Secretarial), Secretarial Studies/Administration or Business Administration/ Management from an accredited institution.
- Malawi School Certificate of Education or equivalent.
- At least 6 years practical experience in a relevant field.
