Job Description

Applications are invited from knowledgeable, experienced, and skilled candidates to fill the following position:

Facilities and Administration Manager – Head Office

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer the successful candidate will manage the Administration function of the Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilities Management, premises inspection and maintenance.
  • Asset and Inventory Management.
  • Security management.
  • Management of the bank’s fleet of vehicles. Compliance with Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) and other regulatory bodies guidelines.
  • Stores management.
  • Management and control of Stationery and other inventory.
  • Management of Insurance claims and covers for all assets.
  • Management of all electric Equipment. Contracts management.
  • Preparation of Capital and Administration operating expenditure Budgets in consultation with all business units.

Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies •

  • Knowledge of RBM Directives.
  • Project, Time and Change management.
  • Risk Management.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent.
  • 5 years working experience at a senior managerial level in a bank.
