Job Title: Front Office Porter
Reporting to: Front Office Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort guests to their rooms upon check-in, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, including carrying or trolleying luggage to and from rooms during check-in and check-out.
- Provide clear and concise information to guests about room facilities, amenities, and how to operate in-room equipment.
- Safeguard guest luggage when placed in storage, ensuring proper labelling and handling to avoid damage or loss.
- Efficiently organize and maintain the luggage storage area in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Offer accurate and helpful information about hotel services, facilities, and local attraction as needed.
- Respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously, ensuring an excellent guest experience.
- Collaborate with the front office team to provide seamless and efficient service to guests.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and guest areas.
Qualification and Experience
- MSCE or Certificate in Front Office Management
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing) to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests professionally and courteously
- Physically fit to handle luggage and perform related duties.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a focus on guest satisfaction.
