Job Description
ADMARC Limited Company was established as Statutory Corporation in 1971 under Chapter 67.03
of the Laws of Malawi. The Act was repealed in 2003. Following that, ADMARC was incorporated as
a Limited Liability Company, under the Companies Act. The repeal saw ADMARC Limited becoming
a non-subverted Statutory Corporation, but with Government being a major shareholder with up to
99% shares.
The Board of Directors of ADMARC Ltd resolved to overhaul ADMARC Ltd by Corporate restructuring.
The Board approved new structures for ADMARC Ltd with new skills sets to take the new ADMARC
forward. All employees were retrenched.
ADMARC Limited, a Statutory Corporation in Agricultural Marketing is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following posts:
Heavy Goods Driver (Grade AL10 based at Divisional Offices)
Purpose of the Job
To transport company goods.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Collect and deliver goods, office equipment, etc.
2. Ensure that the vehicle is in good condition i.e. check tyre pressure, oil, fuel e.t.c and carrying out
minor vehicle maintenance.
3. Update logbook on daily basis.
4. Check validity of vehicle documents and renewing of COF, Insurance etc.
5. Report needs for service or major faults.
6. Ensure that the vehicle is clean at all times.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- MSCE
- Driving Licence of Class C1 with Category G and those with Driving Licence of Class 1 with
Category PG or Class CE will have an added advantage. - Defensive Driving Certificate.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Plus three (3) years’ work experience
