Grace Bandawe Hotel and Conference Centre provides accommodation, meals, conference facilities and pleasant surroundings for tea and coffee. Located along Chileka Road and directly opposite to Phoenix School, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards in hospitality and customer care services while embracing the warmth and charm of African culture.
HOTEL MANAGER
We are looking for a passionate, customer-focused HOTEL MANAGER to provide management of the Hotel operations which includes the Rooms Division, food and Beverage Operations and Conference and Banqueting Centre. You must be an exceptional leader and have experience managing staff, solving problems for clients and making sure that our customers have a memorable experience. Our ideal applicant is passionate about delivering top-notch customer service while ensuring compliance to the highest hotel standards and offer admirable quality services that guarantee profitability of the Hotel. We need a Manager with at least five years’ experience in Hospitality Industry.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operations and staff of all the departments of the Grace Bandawe Hotel and Conference Centre;
- Providing training to the employees on hotel policies and procedures;
- Develop long- term strategic plans for the Hotel to meet its goals and maintain profitability.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the whole client experience;
- Provide strong leadership and motivate staff members to offer good customer care services to clients;
- Monitor staff performance utilizing KPLs, productivity, customer satisfaction, and absenteeism;
- Supervise guest services staff to ensure that all guests receive prompt attention to their needs;
- Design a feedback system to manage and handle guests complaints;
REQUIREMENTS
- A Diploma from well recognised Hospitality Management School. (Those with a Degree in Hospitality Management will have an added advantage);
- Must be a self – starter;
- Proven leadership experience in Managing Teams;
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
