Job Description
The Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada is implementing, VOICE for Women and Girls, an eight-year project (2020-2028), in Canada and five African countries: Senegal, Ghana, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Kenya. Funded by the Canadian government through Global Affairs Canada (GAC), the project aims at strengthening the performance of developing country partner organizations to advance gender equality and economic empowerment of 50,000 women and men (60% women and girls) from marginalized communities. VOICE will harness the knowledge, capacity, and expertise of 169 North-South volunteer mandates, 50 e-volunteer mandates and 16 national volunteer mandates to assist Developing Country Partners (DCP) to work with local primary co-ops to improve their performance, advocate for gender equality, and implement more sustainable, innovative, and inclusive initiatives or services particularly for women.
The Mid-Term Evaluation will assess the project’s progress to date with respect to the approved logic model and project management framework. This evaluation will serve as a checkpoint to evaluate the quality of completed activities and resource utilization and identify unmet targets and other bottlenecks. Additionally, this stage will focus on critical learnings, identifying the project’s strengths and weaknesses to help implementers adopt corrective actions for achieving positive outcomes. The Mid-Term Evaluation is designed to assist all stakeholders in understanding the project’s progress and identifying areas for improvement.
