Job Title : Loader
Reports to : Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a physically fit and detail-oriented Loader to join our fast-paced courier team. The successful candidate will efficiently load/unload packages, parcels, and freight, ensuring accurate sorting and tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load/unload packages, parcels, and freight from vehicles, containers, and pallets.
- Ensure accurate sorting, scanning, and tracking of shipments.
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor belts).
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with drivers, couriers, and warehouse staff.
- Follow company procedures and safety protocols.
- Perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods).
Requirements:
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds (23 kg) or more.
- 1+ year of warehouse/logistics experience.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work varying shifts (nights, weekends, holidays).
Other Attributes :
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with warehouse management software. ✓ Knowledge of courier service operations.
