Are you an ambitious, detail-oriented individual passionate about finance and development? Olympus Financial Services, a newly established microcredit company dedicated to empowering individuals and small businesses, is looking for two Loan Officer Interns to join our dynamic team.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the microfinance sector, contribute to community empowerment, and develop your professional skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Duration: 6 months with a possibility for permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Loan Officer Intern, you will:
Assist in identifying and recruiting potential clients for microcredit services.
Support the evaluation and verification of loan applications to ensure eligibility.
Conduct client interviews and financial assessments.
Help maintain accurate records of loan disbursements, repayments, and client interactions.
Monitor loan portfolios, track repayment schedules, and follow up with clients.
Educate clients about loan terms, repayment obligations, and financial literacy.
Provide administrative support to the loans management team.
Collaborate with the team to identify and mitigate risks in loan management processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Holder of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of loan processes and financial principles is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
