Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) Plc, one of the leading telecommunications companies in Malawi, is seeking to
hire dynamic, creative, innovative, and adaptable, thinking outside the box, collaborative, data-driven and
results-oriented individuals to join our marketing team in the following position

Position: Manager, Mobile Money Marketing
Location: Lilongwe
Reports to: Marketing Director
Grade: D2

Role Overview


The Manager, Mobile Money Marketing is critical in driving the growth and adoption of mobile money services.


Key Responsibilities


▪ Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for mobile money services,
driving customer acquisition, retention, and transaction volumes.
▪ Revenue Growth: Implement campaigns aimed at increasing Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and overall
revenue.
▪ Customer Retention: Develop loyalty programs to enhance customer retention and reduce churn.
▪ Digital Marketing: Lead digital and social media campaigns to drive mobile money usage.
▪ Partnerships: Identify and negotiate partnerships to expand the mobile money ecosystem.
▪ Market Research: Use customer insights and market research to guide product positioning and marketing
initiatives.
▪ Team Leadership: Manage a team of marketing professionals, ensuring effective execution of strategies.
▪ Improve Mbamba Market share: Implement strategies to gain higher market share of RMS and CMS

Education & Experience


▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an
advantage.
▪ 4-6 years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years in telecommunications or financial services,
particularly in mobile money.
▪ Proven experience in revenue growth, customer acquisition, and churn management.
▪ Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen.
▪ Strong leadership and team management skills.
▪ Proven track record in customer acquisition, revenue growth, and retention.
▪ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
▪ Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools.
▪ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
