Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mentor at Yamba Malawi in Lilongwe. The Mentor will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and encouragement to individuals in the community, helping them develop skills and strategies to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in mentorship or counseling
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Empathy and patience in guiding others
- Knowledge of community development and poverty alleviation
- Fluency in English and local languages
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field
