Position: Interior Designer
Location: Lilongwe and Blantyre
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to develop design concepts and manage projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
2. Design Concept Development (3D & 2D): Create design concepts in both 3D and 2D.
3. Space Planning: Develop efficient and aesthetically pleasing space plans.
4. Material and Furniture Selection: Choose appropriate materials and furniture for projects.
5. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets.
6. Project Coordination: Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders.
7. Presentation and Documentation: Prepare and present design proposals and documentation
8. Site Visits and Supervision: Conduct site visits and supervise implementation.
9. Sustainability and Safety: Ensure designs meet sustainability and safety standards.
10. Post-Completion Evaluation: Conduct evaluations after project completion.
Skills and Expectations:

2. Maintaining Tools and Equipment: Keep tools and equipment in good condition.
3. Selecting and Sourcing Materials: Choose and source appropriate materials.

Skills and Expectations:
– Knowledge of the use of power tools.
