ONE YEAR – FIXED TERM EMPLOYMENT:
NON-RENEWABLE
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individuals for the post of Network Manager tenable at Head Office, Lilongwe.
Job Purpose:
Managing the bank’s network connectivity, ensuring that network uptime is high and security is guaranteed.
Duration
This is a fixed term employment which will run from Ist September, 2024 to 31st August, 2025.
Major Duties
- Manage the wide area network for the bank’s head office and its branches.
- Manage Local Area Network
- Monitoring network connectivity and ensuring high uptime
- Manage external connections to service providers.
- Managing remote connections for consultants
- Managing network vendors
- Configuring network equipment
- Reviewing firewall logs and taking corrective action
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills/Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or engineering
- Any of the following network certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- A minimum of six (6) years of working experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Supervisory skills
- Ability to think strategically.
- Results orientation
