Job Description
The New-born Essential Solutions and Technologies (NEST360) program at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHEs) continues to support the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Malawi, in implementing and scaling up comprehensive small and sick new-born care (SSNC) through innovative lifesaving technologies, provision of both technical and clinical capacity-building, implementation of clinical and technical educational programs, and building of a sustainable distribution network. The main purpose and focus of NEST360 Phase 2 program is on sustainability. The program seeks to employ an Office Assistant.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain office and surrounding areas cleanness which includes cleaning the offices, bathrooms, common areas, mopping floors, and dusting workstations on daily basis;
- Keeping kitchens, toilets in hygienic condition and replenish sanitary items as deemed necessary;
- Advise supervisor about cleaning material needs;
- Notify supervisor about any repairs that she/he deems necessary
- Deliver documents, mail and other related office supplies to the concerned staff members;
- Perform any other related duties as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications
Malawi School Certificate of Education.
Experience
At least two years of experience in an office environment with similar duties.
