VACANCY
PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER (GRADE TL/M10)
Chikwawa District Council is looking for well qualified and hardworking applicants to fill the vacant post of Twenty Five (25) teachers (Grade TL/M10) tenable at: Maleme, Nkundula, Changadeya,Makala, Chidimba, Phandadzinja, Nsalamba, Mphatika, Chigumula, Mwanaalirenji, Nsingano, Namizinga,Mbiya, Mtawa, Mbundu, Khokhwa and Kawaye.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
1. Preparing schemes and records of work for their classes
2. Preparing lesson plans for all the subjects
3. Preparing teaching and learning materials
4. Setting,checking and marking exercises, tests and examinations
5. Maintain learners’ discipline in his/her class
6. Maintain class register and termly progress books
7. And any other duties assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be holders of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Teaching Certificate from well recognized Teacher’s Training College.
TARGET GROUP
This vacancy is targeting IPTE 13 & 14.
SALARY
Within the Civil Service (Grade TL) salary scale segment.
