St. Andrew’s International Primary School, an independent international school based in Blantyre, Malawi, is a dynamic, modern school that seeks to challenge the status quo in education.
Our curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum, but it has been developed to be far more contextualised to our setting here in Africa.
St. Andrew’s International Primary School has vacancies for primary teachers. Those that can offer a specialist foundation subject are especially encouraged to apply. This is a fixed two-year contract for the new academic year commencing September 2025.
Required Qualifications
Essentials
- A first Degree (BA/BSc/BEd)
- An internationally recognized Teaching Qualification (PGCE/PGCE/ iPGCE)
- Experience of delivering the British National Curriculum

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons, resulting in excellent attainment for children of all abilities.
- The ability to work as part of an international team.
