MET INVESTMENT is on the lookout for an energetic, friendly, and experienced PRINTER OPERATER to join our team!
Position: PRINTER OPERATOR
Location: MET INVESTMENT (Lilongwe,Likuni)
Type: Full-Time
Met Investment are giants in all stationery items , computer accessories, printing services , overhead conductors, insulated cables, substantial electrical materials, supply of pharmaceuticals equipment and general suppliers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To operate and manage printing machines, including the five color.
- To set up printing jobs, including loading paper, adjusting machine settings and maintaining colours during printing.
- Monitor print quality throughout the production run and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, alignment and overall print quality.
- Perform test print and approve final copies before full production.
- Ensuring that all printed work meets customer specifications and company standards.
- Identify technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist with post-print processes such as cutting, folding, laminating and binding.
- Manage materials and report shortages or issues affecting production.
- To be able to follow workplace safety protocols while handling printing and bindery operations
- Comply with company policies and industry standards in printing and bindery operations
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace.

Qualifications
Certificate in printing, at least a year working as an Apprentice in a busy printing press, handworker and self-starter. And those who have proven experience printing services are also encouraged to apply.
