BACKGROUND
Bhubesi Pride Foundation (BPF) in Pheleni Village, T/A Mtema in Lilongwe, is a local NGO that works with young people aged 10 – 30. Our mission is to use sports and supplementary education to equip young people with skills, knowledge and experience to rise above social, economic and health challenges to fulfil their life potential and uplift themselves and their communities.

BPF Programs
1. Sports for Development (S4D)
Clubs for Development (C4D): Annually engages over 1,200 young people (ages 10-30) in netball and non-contact rugby clubs. This includes direct enrollment of 200 youth through player trials at the BPF Mtema Community Center, with an additional 1,000 participating from surrounding communities
Pass It Back: In collaboration with ChildFund Rugby, over two seasons, 52 coaches (27 female) conducted 1,100 integrated sports and life skills sessions and organized six competitions for 114 teams comprising 1,651 players (52% female) across five communities in Lilongwe
2. Supplementary Education
Youth Discuss (Achinyamata Tikambilane): Provides over 2,735 young people (ages 15-25) with access to Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR)/ Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) information across eight secondary schools and the BPF Mtema Community Center.
Life skills education: Through the C4D program, BPF offers career guidance, entrepreneurship training, mindset development, and other youth-oriented information.
3. Beckwith International Leadership Development (BILD Malawi) Program
The Beckwith international Leadership Development (BILD) programme has been designed and funded by Youth Sport International (https://www.youthsporttrust.org/yst-international) and is being delivered in Malawi in partnership with BPF Malawi. BILD Malawi aims to enhance the life-chances of young people by developing their leadership skills through sport.

JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: BILD Malawi Project Assistant
GROSS SALARY: Ranging from K6, 500,000 to K7, 000,000 per Annum

CONTRACT LENGTH: 2 years
LOCATION: BPF Mtema Community Centre
POSITION START DATE: 3rd February 2025
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Reporting to the BILD Project Manager (PM), the BILD Project Assistant (PA) will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of the Beckwith International Leadership Development (BILD-Malawi) Program.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Coordinate with BILD Trainers and Young Sport Leaders to collect all informed consent, registration and survey forms for all project participants.
- The daily coordination of data related to YSL management, team management, and training delivery.
- Supporting the BILD PM to conduct monitoring and support visits of sessions.
- Managing YSL logbooks and or reporting forms, ensuring that they are collected on time as outlined in YSL contracts.
- Support with the facilitation of BILD Trainer/YSL meetings, including producing the agenda, printing and procurement, communicating with YSLs, and delivery of training content related to team management.
- Support the effective monitoring, collection of data, reporting and evaluating of all aspects of work including the development of BILD – Malawi Program Success Stories.
