QUALITY CONTROL OFFICERS (2)
Are you passionate about maintaining the highest standards in food safety and quality? Do you have a keen eye for detail and adedication to ensuring customer satisfaction? We are seeking two skilled and motivated Quality Control Officers to join our team, tenable in Blantyre.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Quality Control Officer, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to excellence. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and maintain the quality and safety standards throughout our food production and distribution processes.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Quality Assurance:
Conduct rigorous inspections and audits at various stages of food production to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
2. Safety Compliance:
Monitor adherence to food safety protocols, hygiene practices, and sanitation standards to safeguard the health of our customers.
3. Process Improvement:
Collaborate with production and retail teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions, enhancing overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
4. Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive records of quality control procedures, inspection results, and any corrective actions taken.
5. Supplier Management:
Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure the consistency and quality of raw materials and ingredients used in our production.
6. Training and Education:
Conduct training sessions for employees on quality control procedures, reinforcing a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field. A Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably within the food production or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
