Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to apply for the posts of Research Attendant (Grade O). Reporting to the Senior research attendant.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Applying appropriate husbandry care to nurture research materials.
- Preparing fields for experiments/trials
- Making field/laboratory observations and parameter scoring in specific programmes.
- Submitting parameter score sheets.
- Looking after section premises
- Sample registration.
- Any other duty that may be reasonable for such post grade.
QUALIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES
- Holder of Junior Certificate of Education (JCE). Those with MSCE will have added advantage.
- Highly motivated and eager to work during odd hours
- Good interpersonal skills
- Team work
- Must have not be more than 35 years of age.
