Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of a Sales Development Officer – Investment Management (1)
Overall Responsibility
- Conducting sales development activities for the asset management company by soliciting business from the market ensuring sales are achieved according to targets set out in the Sales Plan.
Main responsibilities shall include:
- Identify, target, and onboard prospective clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Ensuring achievement of sales targets.
- Retain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities
- Formulation and implementation of annual sales strategy and budget.
- Assist Management in developing innovative ways for product distribution and implement agreed strategy.
- Track and report sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to senior management.
Personal Profile
- Mature, well groomed, trustworthy with a competitive attitude and a team player
- Self-driven and results oriented with a positive outlook
- An excellent face to face and telephone communicator with winning presentation and negotiating skills
- Confident, hardworking and enthusiastic
Experience and Qualification
- Tertiary education, preferably in Finance, Marketing, or business management
- Two (2) years in Business Development and Sales in Investment Management industry
- Computer Literate
