The Training & Research Unit of Excellence (TRUE) is a vibrant health research organisation specialising in high-quality research under two main research themes: Child Health and Development and Maternal Health and Well-being.
TRUE seeks to recruit a suitably qualified, highly motivated, and hardworking candidate to fill the position of Senior Accounts Officer in the Blantyre office with the possibility of relocating to Zomba. The appointment will be on a fixed-term basis of two (2) years, which may be renewed depending on performance and funding availability.
Job Summary:
The Senior Accounts Officer shall work under the Grants Manager to maintain financial, accounting, and grant support services to ensure grants management and compliance. The role also involves overseeing the accounting team, providing accurate and timely financial statements, and improving financial processes and controls.
