POSITION: SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

About Us:

Reynolds Portfolio is a leading real estate agency in Malawi, dedicated to delivering top-tier services in property sales and real estate consulting. As part of our social service in the industry, we manage vibrant online real estate communities and are looking for a dedicated Social Media Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to be managing and moderating a chain of real estate groups on Facebook and WhatsApp. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with a combined membership of over 650,000 on Facebook and over 1,500 real estate agents on WhatsApp.

Location: Remote (Online). However, the successful candidate is required to be based in Lilongwe, Malawi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Moderating a chain of buy-and-sale real estate groups on Facebook.
  • Moderating the WhatsApp group of Malawi real estate agents.
  • Facilitating connections between buyers’ agents and sellers’ agents via the WhatsApp group.
  • Engaging with group members to foster a vibrant and informative community.
  • Monitoring group activities to ensure compliance with rules and maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Posting relevant content, answer queries and manage discussions.
  • Providing regular reports on group activity and growth metrics.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Familiarity with Facebook groups and WhatsApp groups.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Basic understanding of real estate terminology and practices.
  • Familiarity with the real estate market in Malawi.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A friendly and approachable online personality, ideal for a business setting.
  • Ability to engage with group members effectively and professionally.
  • Experience in moderating online communities and online discussions.
  • Ability to handle conflicts and enforce group rules diplomatically.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with real estate agents.
  • Experience in facilitating connections between buyers and sellers.
  • Ability to monitor group activities and maintain high standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing or content creation will be an added advantage.
