Jacaranda Foundation is a charitable organization whose mission is to provide free Preschool, Primary, Secondary and vocational education in Malawi. Jacaranda Foundation is inviting applications from suitable qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Sound Engineer .
Job type: Part time
Qualifications:
– Degree or Diploma in Audio / sound engineering from recognized institutions
– 2-3 years of proven experiences sound engineer – with references.
Responsibilities
– Setting up and operating sound equipment for live events, recordings, or broadcasts
– Conducting sound checks to ensure quality and clarity
– Adjusting levels, frequencies, and other settings to achieve optimal sound
– Troubleshooting technical issues with sound equipment
– Collaborating with producers, directors, and other crew members to achieve desired sound effects
– Maintaining and repairing sound equipment
