Mulanje District Council has Teaching Vacancies in Education Directorate hence this announcement to attract the qualified applicants.
The Vacancies fall in the following Schools:
Mambala, Namindola, Nansato, Changoni,Chanunkha, Chilera, Mulambe, Mulomba, Ndanga, Sagawa, Sanjale, Chimalira,Khurubwe, Malilima, Muloza, Mtepuwa, Ntiza, Nansongole, Bvunduli, Lujeri, Chisawani, Maliya, Namphungo, Nankuyu, Nthundu, Thumbwe, Chimwamesi, Kachere 2, Luwangwa, Makande, Malundu, Nsanjama, Chikanda, Chikomwe, Chinyama, Dzenje, Nanyole, Ntata, Nkondezi, Ngangala, Songwe, Thundu, Mpale, Chisambe, Nselema, Masangwani, Mgumera and Namame.
DUTIES
Among other duties, the Teacher will be:
1. Preparing Schemes of work and Lesson plans
2. Delivering lessons to the Learners
3. Giving out class assignments and exercises to the Learners
4. Marking the exams and assignments done by the Learners
5. Managing Discipline of the Learners
6. Providing Counselling to the Learners
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
a) The applicants must have The Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
b) Should possess Malawi Teaching Certificate IPTE 13 AND/OR 14 Cohorts)
c) Should be registered member of Teachers Council of Malawi
d) Should be ready to work in REMOTE areas
e) Should be ready to adopt and abide to Malawi Teaching Service Regulations
f) Should be ready to teach in Mulanje for a period not less than 4 years before posting to another District
g) Auxiliary Teachers working in Mulanje are encouraged to apply through their Head Teachers.
