Job Description

The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing technical projects, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of the biogas technician team, including scheduling and task assignment.
  • Respond to client requests and demands and guide the team in customer relations.
  • Ensure proper installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of biogas equipment, machinery, and systems, adhering to Sistema.bio procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Follow and manage the preventive maintenance program for all biogas equipment, conducting regular inspections (Quality control audit) and
  • implementing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager to assess technician training needs, identify skill gaps, and develop training plans to enhance the team’s technical capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the biogas technician team, assisting with complex repairs, resolving equipment malfunctions, and troubleshooting process issues.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data and maintenance records, identifying trends and opportunities for process optimization, improved reliability, and cost reduction.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for the procurement of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain inventory levels of critical spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability and minimizing equipment downtime.
  • Develop and enforce Sistema.bio standard operating procedures for equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among the biogas technician team, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Respond to client requests and demands and guide the team in customer relations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A Mechanical engineering is preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of proven experience as a Technical Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
