Job Description
FEED the Children Malawi is looking to engage the following open temporary position in Lilongwe. The temporary position will be for a duration of two – three week intervals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend all training and pretesting sessions
- Pre-test data collection guides, forms and devices for data collection
- Ensure safe custody of both hard copy and digital data collected and follow all quality checks provided
- Provide the study team with daily updates on data collection and participate in the development of daily field reports
- Perform any other duties relevant to this position as may be assigned from time to time through field reports
- Adhere to infection prevention and control measures as guided by the Ministry of Health
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or degree in statistics, social sciences, economics, public health, or a related field.
- Training in quantitative research methodologies, survey design, or data collection techniques is a plus.
- Basic understanding of quantitative research and statistical principles.
- Knowledge of survey sampling methods and techniques would be an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
