Job Description
SCOPE OF ROLE
Reports to: Broking Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessing and analysing risk.
- Preparing quotations for prospective clients.
- Calculating premiums.
- Handling and resolving customer complaints and disputes. Participating in product development.
- Ensuring adherence and compliance to all statutory requirements at all times.
- Keeping records of all paid policies.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of Diploma in Insurance.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- At least 2 years’ work experience in the insurance industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy and excellent documentation skills.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing Malawi’s financial sector.
