Job Description:

Overview:

This 12-week internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in welding and fabrication within a dynamic workshop environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our skilled technicians and engineers to support the manufacturing of agricultural machinery and other custom metal fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist in welding and fabricating metal components for various projects.

– Support the fabrication team in assembling and installing machinery parts.

– Perform basic welding tasks under the supervision of experienced welders.

– Operate welding and cutting equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

– Assist in quality control checks to ensure welds meet company standards.

– Participate in maintenance and repair tasks within the workshop.

– Learn and apply industry best practices in welding and fabrication.

– Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time.

Requirements:

– Currently pursuing or recently completed a technical certificate/diploma in Welding, Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

– Basic knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures.

– Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

– Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

– Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

– Good communication skills.

– Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.

  • Computer Aided technical drawing is a plus
