Reporting to: Senior ICT Officer
Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that ICT systems, services, and infrastructure at Deep Mute remain up-to-date, secure, and effectively utilized to support our innovative technology solutions.
Key Duties:
Implementing and supporting essential security aspects for systems and applications.
Troubleshooting and resolving software-related faults.
Managing client websites to promote visibility both locally and globally.
Configuring and implementing software systems.
Providing technical and ICT user support and conducting on-the-job training.
Ensuring relevant data security and system backups.
Reviewing and monitoring ICT applications, Management Information Systems (MIS), and user manuals.
Preparing periodic ICT reports.
Minimum Education Qualification, Key Attributes, and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least three (3) years of post-qualification experience.
Proven experience as a Software Developer.
Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, and familiarity with Google Apps.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience and knowledge of content management systems, databases and structured query languages.
Knowledge of standard ICT hardware and equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
