POSITION: IT OFFICER
POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT Infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance security and managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security and efficiency. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to staying updated with the latest technology trends.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Information Systems or related field from a recognized institution
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network management, server administration and cyber security.
- Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, Linux, maCOS) and software applications.
- Familiarity with database management and data backup/recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) is a plus.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g VMware, Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of cloud services and solutions (e.g AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of auction software and systems.
